the exterior trim around the window

is separate from the window. the window, most times is attached to the rough opening by itself …so you dont need to worry about the window coming or falling out from just ripping off the trip pieces to replace them…Just take a flat prybar and pry the trim pieces off…and cut and renail replacement pieces on …prime and paint. they are probably 1×4 or 1×3 inch trim boards correct?
