tar on vinyl flooring

Help!!! I’ve got a few tar stains on my vinyl flooring. I’ve tried abrasive cleaners, bug & tar remover for cars, baby oil and can’t seem to find anything to even lighten the stain. My home is only four years old. Does this sound like I’ll be living with the tar until the floor gets replaced. Have any ideas? Thank you for you help.
