stuck with stucco

Stucco is not all that bad. change your attitude and it will save you a lot of misery. Seriously,however, since you won’t do that, suggest smoothing it over with plaster or buying z-brick to cover it. Aside from that, take a chisel and hammer it off to the substrate. Sorry if this doesn’t help, but I stopped fixing things and prefer to like what I have.
