The only company I know of that made a Kenmore induction cooktop was Sanyo (there may have been others). I don’t know why LG Electronics would have anything to do with such units unless they manufactured it.

However, the only way to tell whom made your particular appliance is by posting its complete model number as printed on the identification tag *on the appliance itself*. You can find tips for locating that tag on your appliances in the ‘Repair Parts’ section of my site linked below.
