Mary, if I were you I would replace the cooktop with a new one. It isn’t much worth replacing the glass on a 32 year old cooktop, even if it still works. I don’t think you can still buy glass for that old of a cooktop and even if you could it would be too hard to remove and replace the glass, not to mention expensive. The cooktops run about $300, not cheap but less than a replacement glass. As for the corning glass next to the sink I am not sure if it is still available, but you will have a better chance of finding corning glass to fit there than the stove. Check the web and ask your home supply store such as Home Depot and see if they will help. I know Home Depot has glass ceran cooktops for less than $400.
