bobwaldo1My biggest complaint is that any new ceiling fan that you buy comes with candelabra base light fixtures now (at least, that is all that is available at Lowes or Home Depot). I bought and installed a new ceiling fan in my living room, but these candelabra bases have a max rating of 40W (not all do, just mine, I guess. Shoulda checked). 4x40W is not enough light in my living room. It literally makes me sick to be in the room with that little light. The CFLs are being used because of their low draw to high equivalent light output. 16W draw for 60W equivalent light, which is what I need in the room.
