Old egging on vinyl siding

I disagree. I would fear that the pressure would blow water under the siding or possibly separate the courses. I would just spray the area with a water and detergent mix in a garden sprayer several times to allow the egg to soften. Then scrub with those woven plastic pot scrubbers (Tuffy). Don’t use Scotch Brite, as this will abrade the surface of the vinyl.
