The Intertherm heater line was bought by Cadet a few years back. Cadey is still makeing the “Softheat” line of baseboard. I do not recommend repairing a liquid filled heater. either replace the element in its entirty or the whole heater. The liquid is 80% water and 20% Ethylene Glycol. If you try to repair the unit how much of this liquid mixture do you add? Too much and the heater may build up too much pressure. Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and True Value carry this line of heaters.
