What does the water from the water dispenser taste like? Next thing to do is check if there is a filter in the water line. If they are not changed they eventually become a science project. Next remove the ice crusher box and wash it all out with soap and water, rinse several times. Next wipe and rinse out the ice maker tray. Let it make new ice and see. If this is ok, then check to see if you use ice often enough. If it sits in the box too long it absorbs food odors.
