How do I remove old oil based primer from Aluminum

Since April, I have tackled the job of scraping, sanding, priming and painting the entire exterior of my 2 story home.

I have completed the project this past weekend, but noticed there is some white oil based primer on some of the dark brown aluminum

windows. I have tried paint thinner to remove it, but it is not working at all. It has dulled some of the brown on the aluminum, so I

do not want to proceed any further. The house looks so nice except for these eye sores and I would really like to get them cleaned off.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
