Look at a camper, trailer or boat supply, they have boxes which are made to accept the female end of a cord that can be hooked into the wiring, use a seperate breaker for that box, then you can turn it off when not in use.
recommend even if you do hook up useing some other method that you do so through a breaker, and always turn off the main breaker when you run the generator. a lot of disconected/downed power lines are still live from people back-feeding them with generators.
