if you have 120v on both sides, the neutral (white) wire is open somewhere between the outlets and the breaker box. turn off the breaker and open the outlets looking for a loose wire. possibly you are using the stab connections on the back of the outlets and one has pulled out. SUGGESTION, use the screw terminals to prevent such problems.
