My boyfriend finally decided to do some research on this (I guess he’s finally getting fed up) and he found out that we need to replace the diverter on the inside… the part that directs the water up or down. Luckily, he has all of next week off, so he said he was going to try to do it himself and if he can’t, he’s going to call a plumber. So, one way or another, this is hopefully going to get fixed.
