When warm humid air comes in contact with a cold surface it can no longer hold the moisture. That is why rain falls out of air when it rises in a thunderstorm, and why you have drips on a cold pipe. The easiest fix is to simply insulate the pipe. Your harware store will sell pipe insulation you can install your self very inexpensively. Looks like a foam tube usually sliced down one side.
