Ceiling Fan and Remotes

If the ceiling fan does not have separate pull chaings for light and fan and reverse switch then the remote is an integal part of the unit and can’t be removed.

If the fan has all of those then most likely it can be removed.

commonly the remote receiver is under the canopy and can be removed and wired directly.
