Thanks for your response. This is not a job I can do myself (I don’t have the knowledge). I really wanted a quick fix, but, since the house was built in 1968 (and probably the gross green tile in the shower is the original) – and since I can’t stand the tile and have been wanting to replace it – should I just break down and remove the old tile, fix the faucet and have new tile? Or, should I have someone come in from the back wall and then later on do the tile? And what kind of person (i.e. plumber, drywaller, or both – can you hear my bank account crying?) do I contact for this? Thanks again.
