* The thermal fuse mounted on the heater assembly with the other thermostats is open.
* Possibly casused by poor venting allowing the air in the dryer to heat beyond tolerance.
* It could also be a bad thermostat that should have shut off the heating element when it came up to temperature and didn’t.
