We just bought a house and decided that since our children’s rooms did not have lights in the ceiling fans, but the wall switch that we would install light kits. We installed the light kit, and it didn’t work, and now the fan doesn’t work either. The motor runs, but the blades don’t turn. Any suggestions? Also which way do I need to set the fan for summer and winter months to get the most benefit of the fan?
