      ref Model # 106.9834921 Serial # EE3021588

      This is an independent unit, approximately 10 years old.

      All of a sudden, it has stopped cooling, obviously

      not making any ice.

      Do you have any advice for a dummy?

      COULD BE COMPRESSOR OUT, FREON LEAK, OR JUST NEED COILS CLEANED. OR ALL OF THE ABOVE. SOMEONE MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE WILL REPLY WITH MORE IDEAS.

      also could be the bin t’stat, or reversing valve. first thing I would check to see if comp is even coming on, could be a bad start relay or what K Smith suggested?????
