  The air gap for our dishwasher has water coming out of it all of a sudden when we run the dishwasher and it drains. What does this mean? Does it mean we have a clogged pipe or is it normal? We’ve never noticed it doing this before and we’ve had the dishwasher a long time. What do we do?

  The check valve in the air gap has gone bad or is dirty and leaking. The best thing to do would be to change it out.

  When our dishwasher is draining, there is now water coming out of the airgap. The drain hose and the drain line are not plugged. Any ideas what’s going on?
